Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain's oldest wine and spirits merchant, a company that can trace its origins back to 1698. Today it remains a family-owned business trading from the same historic premises at No.3 St. James's Street.
The company is still run by members of the Berry and Rudd families, with Creative Director Geordie Willis representing the eighth generation of the Berry family and Chairman Lizzy Rudd representing the third generation of the Rudd family. Over three centuries it has built a reputation for the breadth and depth of its fine wine range, based on its unique relationships with producers around the world.
The auction prize is a tour of our Cellars followed by champagne for four people, hosted by a senior member of staff, in the historic premises at No.3 St. James's Street, London. This is an opportunity to see parts of the two acres of cellars (including historic bottles) and the St James's premises not normally open to the public.
